Let me briefly explain.

They are nothing more than local mobile-friendly websites that are offered for FREE in which you can claim.

They allow you to include things such as your Business Name, Address, and Phone number…

Which is called NAP.

You can also include additional things such as videos and photos right on the page.

Companies such as Google and Bing aren’t offering these little powerful local patient-getting sites for no reason, they have a vested interest to benefit as well.

But who cares, because as a dentist you get to claim and use these little powerful sites at no charge.

They are being offered as a win-win situation for the companies such as Google and Bing so that they can make money from the Ads that people place, especially those that target a specific city which is called geo-targeting.

So, before I answer the question, “Which Is Better, Google Places, Bing Local, Facebook Places, or Foursquare For Business?”

Why don’t you take a look at the following trend chart that I got straight from Google down below:

As you can see Google Places has the highest peak search interest, Facebook Places is second, Bing Local is third, and Foursquare For Business is fourth.

Here are the results when I removed the “For Business” from Foursquare:

Now Foursquare has the highest peak search interest, Google Places is second, Facebook Places is third, and Bing Local is fourth.

You have to be careful with the last chart because it’s not specifically relating to Foursquare For Business, but Foursquare in general.

Now my answer to the question, “Which Is Better, Google Places, Bing Local, Facebook Places, or Foursquare For Business?”

It doesn’t matter, because being the smart dentist that you are…

It’s best to claim your page on each of the Big Four!

Why not?
